COPENHAGHEN TKS (PART 3)

Situated on the west of the palace is the blue dome is Frederik’s Church (in the name of King Frederik V), also known as The Marble Church. The church has the name of granite / marble because these were main building materials by 1749, but to insufficient funding so it was built of limestone at the end. The architect should have taken 5 years and the building was delayed and so many other reasons to build quite a long time, until 1894 to be completed. The model was partly based on the architecture of St Peter’s in Vatican.

On the way to find the home’s Mermaid – The Gefion fountain. I like this style here Florists

In the heart of Copenhagen, a few streets only for pedestrians and bicycles.

Nyhvn, each house was painted a different color. Colorful but also other beauties with the friendly calm of Burano Island. This is probably the most lively and fun place with many eateries in Copenhagen, the cafes, bars .. There are people sitting in bar, front bar, or just sitting on the ground to enjoy coffee or looking at bypassers. And here is once the red light district but it was long time ago.
There’s a very tasty ice cream shop along the main road in Nyhvn

I will tell a story to illustrate my free time in Copenhagen. There was once sitting in a Chinese restaurant, I was the first to sit down at the table and was the last to leave the restaurant. While eating there a group of tourists about ten people came in, they were noisy from the start until the end, they ate a dozen of dishes in very short time. They talked loudly, ate and went around like their home. I looked up to them, smiled and greeted a few guys, they also look back at me – a sick child traveling alone, eating too much (just a little meat, vegetables and rice). Their stuffs are full on the table. They finished eating and then went out. About 15 minutes later, a woman came back looking awkward, find both under her table and mine. She asked the bartender something in Chinese, he answered with his English mixing with Chinese, I overheard that it was kind of “she was still sitting there before and I have not seen her standing up to this moment.”

After the woman left, i asked him what stuff she lost? Then he told me that she lost her phone. I still sit another 10 minutes, then the other guy came back and lifted the phone up. That is all about my story.

Traveling and still has free time observing such things is as good for me, and you?

– The end –
